Woodlands Murder Mystery & Night Stalk Combo | Friday 05 April

Join us for a night of intrigue and suspense at Woodlands Homestead on Whitikahu Road! Gather your team and prepare for an unforgettable adventure.

In a small town, tragedy strikes as the daughter of a prominent family is found dead on the eve of a grand birthday celebration. With the overwhelmed detective struggling to keep up with the workload, the grieving parents are determined to find justice for their daughter. To aid in the investigation, they have put up a substantial reward. Now, eight groups of private investigators are invited to compete in solving this gripping mystery. Will you be among the teams to step up to the challenge?

You and your team will have one hour to delve into the secrets of the homestead, meticulously hunt down clues, decipher mind-boggling puzzles, and piece together the puzzle to uncover the identity of the culprit responsible for this heinous crime.

If you're a fan of Quiz Nights or Escape Rooms, this unique puzzle-solving event is tailored just for you. Get ready to immerse yourself in a world of mystery, suspense, and collaboration as you strive to crack the case.

At 9:00pm, enter the eerie Estate Gardens and join a spine-chilling night stalk in search of an entity lurking in the shadows. Guided only by moonlight and torches, test your courage. A mobile phone with internet connectivity and suitable earbuds or earphones are required. Whilst you have a torch on your phone you may also wish to bring a separate torch. On the walk, we encourage you to remain silent and fully immerse in the experience – However, there are a number of 'Confinement'

challenge stations that will face you along the way that can be enjoyed as a team. The challenges are given a difficulty score of easy to medium difficulty.  

There are no Jumpscares in this game but it definitely offers a suspenseful atmosphere.

The Details:

Friday 05 April:  7:00pm start for the Murder Mystery Event, then at 9:00pm begin your Night Stalk Experience.

Teams of 4 - 6 people. This is an R13 event.

You are welcome to make up your own teams,  and smaller groups may be put together to make up the required sizes. If you are booking for less than 4, please contact us at events@confinement.co.nz and we may be able to combine your group with another.

Meet in Garden Grove Bar and Café.  Food and beverages are available at the Cafe.  

Garden Grove is open from 5 pm. The game briefing will be held in the bar, the game starts 15 mins after the briefing time. This Murder Mystery Game will take approx. 1 hour, and the Night Stalk Experience will also take approximately 1 hour.

As the game is played in the homestead and involves going up and down the staircase as well as outdoors in the gardens,  it is recommended that suitable footwear be worn.

Note: No food or beverages are included in the ticket, however, can be purchased separately on the night.
